Mil Mi-1 Maßstab 1:100

Vor einigen Tagen ereichte mich ein Bild des Hubschraubers Mil Mi-1, eines Amerikanischen Modellbauers. Es freut mich sehr, Ihnen dieses Modell präsentieren zu dürfen. Er hat schon sehr viele Plasticart Modelle gebaut, die aber nicht mehr alle in seinem Besitz sind. Er baut aber noch weitere Plasticart Modelle, die ich Ihnen in Zukunft auch noch zeigen werde, sobald ich davon Bilder erhalte.

Den Mi-1 baute er im Geist der 70er Jahre, nur nach den Bausatzunterlagen und dem Bild auf der Verpackung. Wirklich ein Außergewöhnliches Modell.

Seine eigenen Worte in Englisch:
I constructed it in the spirit of the early 1970s, straight from the box, with no detailing other than what is recommended in the instructions. I think the results are fantastic. I plan on building all the kits in the 1:100 scale range.

For your consideration: A Plasticart 1/100 scale Mil Mi-1 helicopter in East German Army markings, fully assembled.

This kit dates from 1978, and was assembled by me, straight from the box. Originally, this was one of plasticart's first helicopter model kits along with the Mi-4, and one of the first in their line to include fine detail such as rivets and panel lines. This particular kits has some of the smallest parts of any of the Plasticart models. The kits is molded in dark green; I enhanced the detail by painting certain parts black to match the one shown in the 1974 VEB Plasticart catalog.

Dimensions: Length (tail rotor to end of main rotor) 6.5 inches; roto width 5 inches; height (bottom of wheels to tip of tail rotor) 1.5 inches approx.

This is a fine little model of a rare helicopter. After building a few of Plasticart's huge 1/100 civil airliners, it was refreshing to finally work on one of their finely detailed smaller kits.
